Boy Bishop

This year's annual Boy Bishop, Monseigneur Louis, helped us all celebrate the Feast of St Nicholas on 6th December. Bishop Louis celebrated Pontifical Vespers and presided at a dinner of Wild Board Stew, including a pig's head, carried in homage by the Masters. During this ceremony, a traditional song is sung: 'caput apri deferro, reddens laudes Domino!" Photos to follow.

Rugby victory

Two Rugby 7s, for 11-13 year olds, were played against the College Ste Marie, Chavagnes en Paillers on 7th December. Although our boyus had to play two matches, they comfortably won both, 6-1 and 5-0. Well done, lads. Photos to follow.

Singing for the Old folks.

On 7th and 8th December, the Choir of Chavagnes International College sang Christmas and Advent carols for the elderly in Chavagnes, first at the Maison de Retraite Osmane de Guerr, then at the Communaute du Sacre Coeur, home of the retired sisters of the Ursulines of Jesus.

Medieval Mystery Plays and Carols.

Four medieval mystery plays were staged on the last day of term, Saturday 11th December, and seemed to go down very well. This was followed by the traditional Advent Carol Service. Photos to follow.
