A limited number of boys were in the age group taking public exams this year.

We had one boy in Upper VIth and one in Lower VIth.

The results were:

Upper VIth: B,B,C at A-level (Maths, Biology and French); with an additional B at AS-level (English Language). (Total UCAS points*: 330)

Lower VIth: A,A,A,B,C, (English Lit, English Lang, Philosophy, RS, Maths) all at AS-level (Total UCAS points so far*: 270; predict 450-500 by end of VIth form.)

*The UCAS tarrif calculations do not include Associated Board music exams, which in each case would add somewhere in the region of 40-50 points.

GCSEs

Only one boy took GCSEs this year. Partial results available so far:

English as a 2nd Language (IGCSE): Grade C;

 Mathematics: C; Spanish: A*; Religious Studies: C

These results are in accordance with predicted grades and we are in general satisified with performance this year.
